Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with our comprehensive services and caring team. We encourage questions!
- Meet Your Dental Team - Get an introduced to your dentist and the rest of the dental team.
- Share Your Goals - Our dentists and staff listen to your concerns, hopes, and goals so we can serve you.
- Get a Visual Exam - Get a full examination of your dentition, soft tissue, and supporting bone structures. This will enable us to formulate a plan as to how best serve and treat you.
- Get X Rays - In addition to the visual examination a radiographic exam utilizing X-Rays allows us to see teeth and boney structures more clearly to determine what if anything needs to be addressed.
- Get a Cleaning - To be seen for your first cleaning or any emergency treatment if needed.

Contact your former dentist and request that they send your previous X-Rays to us either by mail or email to office@southuniversitydental.com.
What we need:
- Bite Wings from the past year
- Panoramic/Full Mouth from the past 5 years.
Make sure to bring your new patient forms. You can find those forms here. If you have dental insurance, bring your dental insurance card, a digital copy, or bring your insurance number.
Our office in Fargo is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid as per the contract agreement.
We are a Delta Dental Premier Provider and are now in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of ND.
We work with almost all Insurance companies and will do our best to file your claim for you. You are responsible for the full balance, therefore, anything not covered by insurance is your responsibility.
If you have any questions, our staff is always available to answer them.
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.
Once treatment has started, we will file your claims. To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our New Patient Registration Forms.
